Everbloom ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Everbloom mobile application.
Data We Collect
Everbloom is designed to be private by default. Most of your data never leaves your device.
- Health data (medications, cycle tracking, journal entries, mood logs) — stored locally on your device only
- AI chat messages — sent to Google Gemini API for generating responses; not stored by us
- Anonymous analytics — optional, aggregated usage statistics (no personal identifiers)
How We Use Your Data
- Health data stays on your device for tracking and visualization
- AI chat messages are sent to Google Gemini to generate supportive responses and are not retained by Everbloom
- Anonymous analytics help us improve the app experience
Data Storage & Security
Your data stays on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal health information. If you use the optional partner pairing feature, data syncs directly between paired devices via Firebase with strict security rules.
- Data is stored locally using your device's secure storage
- Firebase sync (if enabled) uses encrypted connections and Firestore security rules
- We do not have access to your data
Third-Party Services
- Google Gemini — AI chat responses (messages sent on-demand, not stored)
- Firebase — optional data sync between paired devices
- Google Play Services — app distribution and analytics
Data Sharing
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data may be shared only when:
- You explicitly choose to export it (CSV export)
- You pair with a partner and enable sharing
- Required by law
Your Rights
- Delete all data — Use the "Delete All Data" button in Settings to erase everything
- Export data — Download your data as CSV anytime from Settings
- Disable analytics — Turn off anonymous analytics in Settings
- Unpair partner — Remove partner access at any time
Children's Privacy
Everbloom is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
